Dignity Price

A concept created by Michael Rozyne, Founder and Managing Director of Red Tomato. Red Tomato is a food hub that creates opportunities for farmers in the Northeast to be primary suppliers to a regional, sustainable food system.

Dignity price is the lowest price threshold that producers can accept and still remain viable. Origins of dignity pricing began with costs of production plus reinvestment and fair profits. Ongoing and constant conversations with producers ensure fair price.
